Parkway is partnering with East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry and Second Mile Mission Center to collect meat items to help families in need that are suffering from the recent SNAP cutbacks.
The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, formerly “food stamps”) is the first line of defense for 3.5 million low-income Texans who rely on it to help feed their families.
Meat donations can be dropped off at Parkway UMC in one of the freezers located in the Worship Center or Ministry Center.
