adult discipleship

Disciples at Parkway are on a journey to follow, believe, and love Jesus.

These Disciples are engaged in their growth, extravagant in their generosity,

everyday in their service, and earnest in their devotion.

  • Summer app-based study

The YouVersion Bible App allows for group Bible Studies where people can interact, make comments, and study together while spread out on vacation, work, or busy with life. We are trying this hybrid Bible study this summer – reading and interacting on the app, but also gathering in person once a week with whoever is in town.

If you're interested in trying out this app-based Bible Study, click HERE for step-by-step instructions.

    For questions, email Pastor Justin.

  • Summer in-person book study

Wednesday, 6.30pm in the Ministry Center

Pastor Justin is leading a book study on The Air We Breathe by Glen Scrivener. There are many values popular in our modern culture that are often attributed to the secular movements: Equality, Compassion, Consent, Science, Freedom, and more. In The Air We Breathe, Glen Scrivener traces the roots of these ideas not to modern secularism, but ideas, thinkers, and movements that grew out of the Christian tradition.

  • grow groups

Grow Groups is the small group, discipleship ministry of Parkway.

At Parkway, one of the places we feel people grow the most quickly in their relationship with God and with others, is in a grow group. Grow Groups are a great way to grow your friendships, your knowledge of scripture and your impact on the world. They typically contain about 8-12 people and meet on a weekly or semi-weekly basis.

We've got groups of every life stage that meet on a variety of day and nights. CLICK HERE to see all of our Grow Group options.

If you want to know more about our Grow Groups or to help find the best group for you, please email, info@parkwayumc.org.
