We use the Celebrate Wonder curriculum in our Sunday morning ministry to help children
hear about God’s love and explore the Bible in ways that feed their imagination
and encourage creativity while giving them the tools to incorporate their faith into their daily lives.
PreK children attend Chapel with their friends during their 10:30 Sunday School hour. They begin by bringing in the Light of Christ. Next they celebrate the Bible and participate in the giving of their offering, then hear and experience the Bible story together. They end with a prayer and a reminder that they can always carry the Light Of Christ with them in their hearts.
For ages 6 & up...a weekly in-person worship celebration your child can attend during the 10:30 service . During Celebrate Wonder they enjoy worship, a drama or recap about the Bible story, and activities to help them apply what they have learned together. After the worship time the children divide into age-level small groups to further explore the theme. Celebrate Wonder children check into Club 45 in the Ministry Center.
It's our tagline for Children's Ministry. It's also our deeply seated belief.
Every time a parent or guardian makes a choice to bring a child to a Parkway activity, we are given the opportunity to sew seeds of faith that will germinate somewhere down the road in that child's life. At these family-friendly activities you will hear about God's love in a fun, engaging way AND have a chance to invite a neighbor into the story of God's love for them.
