  • Rev. Russell hall

    senior PASTOR

Russell came to Parkway from Tomball UMC, where he served as the Senior Pastor from 2014 to July 2019.  He has served as both an Associate and Senior Pastor at congregations across the Texas Annual Conference.  Russell is a native Houstonian, while his wife, Erica, was born in Duluth, MN and got to Texas ‘as quick as she could.’  They married in January of 2002 and welcomed their daughter, Bailey, into the world in August of 2007.  They love the outdoors and traveling.  He also enjoys hunting, geocaching, Astros and Skeeters games, and collecting sports memorabilia.

Russell currently serves as the Conference Secretary for the Texas Annual Conference.  He has served on District Leadership teams, Apportionment Task Forces, as a mentor pastor for Perkins students, and a number of other committees at both the conference and district levels.

Russell has an AA from Houston Community College, a BS from the University of Houston, and a M.Div. from Perkins School of Theology. As well as additional training that includes NCLI, GCFA officer training, Right Now Media Conference, Academy for Adaptive Leadership, a weekend workshop for pastors following planting pastors, and many more.

  • REv. mak percival

    Associate Pastor

Mak (Mary Kathryn) serves as Parkway's Associate Pastor. Mak has faithfully worked in the Methodist Church for over seventeen years and is a third generation Methodist pastor. She is currently the supervising pastor for our Day School, Children Ministry, Student Ministry, and Missions and Outreach. She often preaches in our worship services and helps at our church-wide Midweek Bible study night by either leading a lesson or providing dinner for all our participants.

Mak has a passion for relational ministry and strives to make genuine connections with people. She and her husband, Eric, welcomed their child in November 2018. Outside of ministry, Mak enjoys reading, volleyball, their three fur babies, traveling, and of course … food! She has been serving at Parkway for eight years and is excited to continue her calling here in the Sugar Land area.

    director of children's ministry

  • Kat britton

    director of student ministries

Kat Britton oversees our ministry to youth, grades 6th to 12th grade. She has a Bachelors in Business Management from the University of Houston and is pursuing her Masters in Divinity from Southern Methodist University. Kat attended Parkway UMC beginning in fifth grade and is so excited to be back serving in her home church in this way. She received her own call to vocational ministry during her junior year in high school at U.M. Army so she has a deep passion for youth mission trips, events, and ministry as a whole!

Her and her husband, Andrew, have three dogs: John Wesley (lab blue heeler mix), Francis Asbury (red heeler), and Lady (a complete mutt). Most of the time you can find Kat working on school assignments, nose deep in a book, or watching a show with her husband. She also loves fellowship time with friends through game nights (she won’t ever pass up an invitation for one!).
