Wednesday Grow groups

Getting in a Grow Group is a great way to study God's word and grow in our faith together with others. God wants us to spend time together, find a belonging place, get in his word and grow spiritually. If you want to know more about our Grow Groups or to find the best group for you, please email Grow Group Coordinator, Julie Angle at

Wed. 5:30 - 6:00 p.m.

Meets in the Ministry Center, Room 126

Facilitated by Valerie Throgmorton

We are a group of moms, dads and children who are using the One Year Children's Bible to find out about this God who loves us and wants to be in relationship with us! Parents do their best to read one (short) story with the children at home each day. In our time together, we explore the most important parts of each of the past week's stories through games and activities. And whenever the stories had ANYTHING food-related, we always find a way to bring that into our time together too! (Pictured on the left is our Joseph Feast, where we sampled the gifts Jacob's sons brought to present to the governor of Egypt during the famine.) New families are welcome to join at any time.

Wed. 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.

Meets in the Ministry Center, Room 128

Facilitated by Debby Jordan

We look at ourselves as a family. We are made up of: singles (with and without children), couples (both attend or only 1 spouse attends), empty nesters, some with adult children living at home and some with high schoolers. Normal study topics are contemporary religious issues supported with DVD and a text (5-7 lessons). No homework. We hold a social gathering (going out to eat together) at the completion of a study. We do not have child care.
